When I do this, I always have this crazy thought: what if I don't water them? are they going to die?
Actually the answer is no. The religious part of me answers "GOD protects all of his creation." the more I think about it, the more I believe that it is always a better decision to help GOD by taking away some tasks from his long to-do list. Why should I wait for rain or for another stranger's good will when I can water them myself with no harm? Suppose I had forgotten to water them and so while driving my car, prayed for the rain. What if another person who had forgotten his umbrella or had his clothes hanging to dry was praying for the opposite? can't you see that we are making the angels confused by asking for silly things without coordinating?
The ironic thing is that we can do it by ourselves. Why then do we end up blaming god and destiny if things go wrong? I mean sometimes I spend days praying for something, only to pray for the exact opposite thing later on. watering my plants shows me how effective the collaboration between the human world and the plant world can be. I am sure they are very grateful to have an extra plant come to help them and take care of them.
Sometimes - especially Sundays - the previous night's parties may be the reason of my hilarious imagination - I feel like they are thanking me, smiling, and dancing. and I make sure, in a very strict way, to water them equally so they don't get jealous of each other. Actually, this makes me more considerate when it comes to god’s duties toward us. It makes me more aware of how difficult it is to build justice and equality in this universe.
I am a human. I may be crazier than others. Still, I have a natural desire to feed my ego in everything I do. Trust me, water my plants is almost like eating a delicious breakfast. All you need is 10 minutes - water and see the magic!
It is a simple way to start your morning by making a positive change in the world. It allows you to focus on something more meaningful than the normal questions that occupy your mind. How will I earn? How handsome will I look? How many people am I going to meet? It is free and there are no expectations.
It inspires you to be great, to be kind, to be eager to share more. I consider it a thoughtful moment for myself. A magical gift that allows me to reflect on sharing and giving with no expectations. You will have these benefits too.
The idea of this plant to human collaboration, makes me more enthusiastic about sharing and collaborating human-to-human.
Giving and sharing is an amazing way to enjoy life. it will liberate your soul, create love, and keep you full of positive energy. You don’t need to be a guru to feel it. You don’t need to be a super hero to realize the impact you are having. It’s like the snowball effect. By accumulating simple acts of kindness, you will ultimately believe that the more you are giving, the more you are receiving.
